A grade name alone is not enough. Ask for the product specification showing main-element content and the impurity limits that matter to your process. For silicon metal, buyers often compare silicon content with iron, aluminum and calcium limits; for ferrosilicon, silicon content and relevant impurities should be clear.
Before placing an order
Agree in writing which specification applies, how samples will be drawn and tested, and whether a result represents a general product or the specific shipment. If third-party inspection is required, define the agency, scope, timing and cost responsibility before confirming the order.
Request current specifications and available test documents for the material under discussion. A stock photo or an old certificate is not proof of the chemistry of your shipment.
Send your specification and ask Xinrui Metal about this requirement.
