A low unit price can become a high landed cost when the scope differs. Compare offers using the same Incoterm, named place, currency, packing basis and shipment quantity. Ask whether inland transport, export clearance, terminal charges, ocean freight, insurance and destination charges are included or excluded.
Before comparing quotations
Check price validity, payment terms and whether the rate is per metric ton net weight. Freight and metal prices can change; confirm the current commercial offer near the decision date.
If you are unsure which term suits your purchase, give your destination port and say whether you have a freight forwarder. Your importer should independently verify destination taxes, customs and local compliance.
Send your specification and ask Xinrui Metal about this requirement.
